• 1 bis 9 wählen Notenwerte, A bis G Tonhöhen. Dazu Tonart, Versetzungszeichen, Überbindungen, Stimmen, Akkorde, Dynamik, Verzierungen und Wiederholungen.
• Zu einer vorhandenen Note gehen und sie dort ändern. Der Backslash wechselt zwischen Ersetzen, Einfügen, nur Rhythmus und nur Tonhöhe.
• F4 liest die aktuelle Stelle. Beim Eingeben erklingt kurz das Instrument der Spur.

These ways remain in 1.5.0. What was missing was writing a score as note names and note values.

• Record from a MIDI keyboard. The timing and strength of the performance stay in the clip.
• Step input. Place one note at a time on the timeline, with no keyboard.
• MIDI note notepad. Write a melody as text, such as G4q.
• Clip note editor. Change a note that is already in the list.

Score entry in 1.5.0

• Turn it on with Ctrl+Alt+Shift+N. Turn it off and usual shortcuts, such as record and snap, return.
• 1 through 9 choose note values. A through G enter pitches. You can add a key signature, accidentals, ties, voices, chords, dynamics, ornaments, and repeats.
• Move to a note you already entered and change it there. Backslash cycles replace, insert, rhythm only, and pitch only.
• F4 reads where you are. Entering a note plays that track's instrument briefly.

For the people you play with

Sonada does not draw a staff. Ctrl+Alt+Shift+P makes a score PDF, engraved by MuseScore when it is installed. A MusicXML file with the same name is kept even without MuseScore.

• Code Deduction. Guess a hidden number by number baseball, or by cracking a four-digit code.
